"Create a New Account on Console" Bug
If you selected Create a New Account on Console after booting up 2XKO, and then are stuck at screen reading Success! Please wait while we log you in, you may need to unlink and then relink your accounts in a browser. Look below for instructions on how to do both!
Playing 2XKO requires both a Riot Account and an account for your console of choice. The process of linking the two generally goes smoothest if you already have both accounts up and running before trying to link them, so read on to learn not only how to link these accounts, but how to create them.
Creating a Riot/PSN/Xbox Account
If you already have a Riot Account and a PSN or Xbox account, you can skip this step.
If not, the process is a little different for each, but simple for all:
- Create a Riot Account (Select "Create a New Account" at the bottom of the login box)
- Create a PSN Account
- Create an Xbox Account
Social Account Logins
If you've always used a Social Account (Google, Facebook, Apple, etc) to log into our games, you may need to upgrade to a Riot Account to link to consoles.
- Log into your Riot Account on our Account Management Page
- Select Riot Account Sign-In on the left
- Fill in the required information
Linking You Xbox/PSN Account
- Log into your Riot Account on our Account Management Page
- Select Connected Accounts on the left
- Click on your console to begin the process
- Log in with your console account to complete linking
WARNING: PSN and Riot Account Linking is Permanent
You can link a PSN account to only one Riot Account. Even if you unlink later, you will not be able to link to a different Riot Account—only the same one you initially linked.
Unlinking You Xbox/PSN Account
Reversing the process follows similar steps:
- Log into your Riot Account on our Account Management Page
- Select Connected Accounts on the left
- Click on the minus sign (-) next your console to begin the unlinking process
If you unlink your Xbox Account from your Riot Account, you can freely link a different Xbox Account. However, while you can unlink your PlayStation account, you will have to relink the same PlayStation account if you decide to link again.
