Please note: this is a short list of controllers we test with every release. However, most control devices, outside from the Switch controller, should work with 2XKO, and we aren't aware of any specific devices that don't work.

Peripheral Troubleshooting

Because no amount of button mashing will secure your victory if those buttons don't work to begin with.

Snackbox MICRO

In order to make Snackbox MICRO work with 2XKO, you'll have to use the specific button mappings listed on their site.

Steam Controller Troubleshooting

If you're experiencing weird controller issues (double-inputs, buttons counting as two different actions, etc.) and can't seem to figure it out, it may be related to your Steam client and its controller settings. Even though 2XKO isn't part of Steam, their input APIs can clash.

Thankfully, there are a few ways to fix it.

1 - Disable Steam Input via Steam Settings

  1. Go to Steam > Settings > Controller.
  2. Toggle off all Steam Input-related options.
  3. If you're using a PlayStation® controller, choose Not Enabled from the dropdown.
  4. Close and reopen 2XKO

If that doesn't work…

2 - Close Steam Fully

  1. Go to the System Tray.
  2. Right-click the Steam icon, then choose Exit Steam.
  3. Close and reopen 2XKO.

If that doesn't work…

3 - Ensure Steam and steam-related processes are closed in Task Manager

  1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the PC menu.
  2. Choose Task Manager.
  3. Identify Steam-related processes that are still running, right-click them, and select End task.
  4. Close and reopen 2XKO.

4 - Confirm that Steam is updated

To update it, open the Steam application and click on “Steam” in the top left corner of the window. Then, mark the “Check for Steam client updates” option.
