As an alternative way to play, starting Closed Beta of 2XKO and onward, the game will have an Offline mode option for PC (2XKO is still an online game).
What does Offline mode offer?
Similar to other fighting games, Offline mode has:
- Training mode
- Local VS [PVP mode]
Not only that, but any characters or cosmetics (like skins) are also available, and your guests in Local Vs will also have access to them! That being said, the following features are only displayed in Online mode:
- Casual lobby
- Ranked lobby
- Private lobby
- Progression screen, which includes Battle Pass and Missions
- Collection and Career menu, as well as the Social panel
- Shop
- Any other feature related to your online Avatar
To avoid any confusions, while playing Offline, the Menu options that require Internet connection will be hidden.
Accessing Offline mode
Offline Tournaments
Tournament organizers must download 2XKO on every device, then follow the instructions below. To use the Inventory of an account, please ensure that all devices have previously logged to the Online mode at least once.
To access Offline mode, you'll need to find OfflineLauncher.exe in the game's directory (you are also required to have logged in the Online mode of 2XKO at least once on the same device). This is how:
- Open a File Explorer window, and in the Search bar type *Offlinelauncher.exe (very important to use the * sign before the name of the file)
- This is automatically installed in your PC, at the time you install 2XKO from our website. The executable is located in the Riot Games folder by default
- Once it is located, simply double-click it
- You may need to allow OfflineLauncher.exe to run, by reviewing its Properties, then select the Unblock option
Important: You can't open Offline mode through the Riot Client if you don't have Internet access. You'll always need to double-click the executable.
