Troubleshooting Game Launching Errors

There's nothing more frustrating than sitting down for a good gaming session and facing an error message. Don't worry, we've got you covered.

System Error/Critical Error

Clear the AppData\Local cache

  1. Open the C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local folder
  2. Delete the game folder
  3. Go to the Riot Games folder
  4. Delete any game folder

Perform Clean Boot

Clearing up background processes can ensure other programs aren't fighting for the spotlight against your game.

Add exceptions in your Firewall

If you're running a third-party antivirus, temporarily disable them to see if the issue persists.

Update your graphic card driver
