What is Art for RP?
"Art for RP" comes from back in the day when we only published League of Legends and RP was our only premium in-game currency. However, with the launch of our other games, we expanded this to include VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra and 2XKO. So now it's "Art for In-Game Currency" to cover all the bases.
What is the Art for In-Game Currency program?
If you've ever had your eyes set on a sweet new skin (or other content!) but found yourself a little short on in-game funds, the Art for In-Game Currency program encourages you to submit a piece of artwork to Player Support, who will then cover the difference in return.
Where did Art for In-Game Currency come from?
According to some Riot lore, it started when a player reached out to Player Support with a humble request. They needed just a few RP to afford the skin they wanted, and wondered if perhaps Riot would cover the difference in exchange for an MS Paint masterpiece.
The rest is history.
How do I submit my art?
League of Legends/Teamfight Tactics - Go to the submit a ticket page, select the Submit Art to Gamer Gallery dropdown, and fill in the rest of the ticket form.
VALORANT/Wild Rift/Legends of Runeterra/2XKO - Submit a ticket on the respective game page and select:
- VALORANT: In-Game Question/Issue & In-Game content refund > Select Free VP for Art Request
- Wild Rift: In-Game Question/Issue & In-Game content refund > Select General Wild Rift Gameplay Question
- Legends of Runeterra: In-Game Question/Issue & In-Game content refund > Select Granting players coins in LOR for art submission
- 2XKO: In-Game Question/Issue & In-Game content refund > Select Questions about events and promotional content in 2XKO
How much in-game currency can I get?
Just a bit.
In all seriousness, the number varies a little per game, but the exact limits are kept secret to protect the playful spirit of the exchange. If you think you're close enough, submit a ticket! Just know that these limits are non-negotiable.
What happens to the artwork?
The art from Art for Currency is forever memorialized in a digital gallery (Gamer Gallery) at https://rpart.riotgames.com. Occasionally, Rioters will pick their favorite pieces to print and hang proudly in our Los Angeles headquarters for all of Riot and our visitors to enjoy!
How often can I submit art for in-game currency?
Getting your piece accepted into the Gamer Gallery is a privilege, not a right. We suggest waiting at least several months between requests, so please be patient! If you make repeated Gamer Gallery submissions despite being told to wait, you may lose your ability to participate at all.
