This page addresses issues you may encounter in 2XKO. If you're having trouble accessing the game, try our 2XKO - Known Access Issues guide.
Connection
- Disconnecting from the network through settings prevents you from connecting to the lobby (restart required)
Interface
- Pressing CTRL+M on the PC version will mute all in-game music.
- Some screens may have unlocalized text.
- Can't interact with invite banners using controller or keyboard. Use your mouse or navigate to the Social panel and accept the invitation request there.
- The Action bar does not show the visual display when hovering certain sections with a mouse.
- Losing focus with a mouse on the Collection landing can prevent a controller from using the menu.
- The menu is constantly hidden when opening controls in the menu a second time after entering it once while also pressing the start button at the same time.
Social Panel
- Opening the Social menu and immediately closing it causes it to get "stuck" (restart to fix)
- Declined duo invites may persist, then joining after can cause an error
Gamepad/Controllers
See our Supported Devices and Peripheral Troubleshooting article.
Controls
- Analog directional inputs may get "stuck" and can be undone by pressing in the opposing direction for a short time (Playing with PlayStation® Dual Shock controllers resolves this issue).
- Binding an action to "X" or "A" controller button may make selection get stuck (hold circle or cancel to back up).
- Accept button in the action bar does not work with a mouse
Avatars
- Equipping an avatar item requires a double-click in some cases.
- Avatar outfits may not display properly in heavily populated lobbies.
- Avatar may move on their own or get stuck in a looping animation when sitting on a cabinet.
- Avatar may briefly assume an A-pose under various circumstances.
- Avatar tag may read as "#TAG" instead of actual Riot ID tag.
- When viewing the Duo menu, the partner’s avatar is not visible.
- The first time opening the Avatar Studio triggers delay/stutter while navigating through the Body options.
- Attempting to unlock an avatar item while in the lobby pause menu will display an incorrect unlock confirmation screen.
Tutorial
- Some peripherals may not work well with the tutorial for PCs. Try using a keyboard for the tutorial before switching back afterward.
- Player is unable to proceed to the next drill of Advanced Lesson "Cross-Ups" after watching the first drill demo and completing the first drill.
Training Mode
- PlayStation®: The training mode frame advantage feature does not function correctly.
- Connecting to the co-op training mode cabinet with a cross-platform partner may cause training mode to crash.
- Plugging in a second controller on PlayStation® during team/champ/stage select can cause the game to soft lock. (restart to fix).
- Unplugging a second controller during stage select can cause mouse and keyboard to lose function. (must plug controller back in).
- Selecting Manual Playback in recording settings makes reversal settings unselectable for training dummy.
- Training mode sometimes takes a long time to load.
- Guard actions don't always work when configured for frame 0.
-
CPU (i.e. the AI bot your practice against).
- CPU reversal options sometimes do not function while the CPU is airborne.
- CPU will perform a back air recovery even when neutral is selected.
- Entering the Online Training mode cabinet with another player returns both players to the Private lobby.
Spectating
- Spectating a match can cause your custom key binds to return to default
-
Spectating the VS screen transition can cause temporary performance dips.
Lobby
- You may randomly drop from the lobby due to a WebSocket error, but you should be able to rejoin.
- Rejoining a lobby after a LAN or settings disconnect may cause you to lose some in-game functionality. Restarting the app will resolve these issues.
- Suspending the game while in a lobby can lead to a crash on Xbox platforms.
- There is a low chance entering a lobby will tilt the axis of the floor. This can be resolved by re-entering the lobby.
- There is a chance the player will fall through a transparent ground on entry. This can be resolved by re-entering the lobby.
- Trying to join a Private lobby and Training mode at the same time may make you unable to interact with cabinets.
- Entering a blank/wrong lobby code hard locks into a "Private" mode select (use mouse to regain focus).
- In Private lobbies, you can still interact with actively used cabinets after being kicked/DC'd.
- Switching controls while loading can cause avatar clipping.
- Queuing for a Casual lobby and then joining a Private lobby before entering the Casual lobby may make your controller stop functioning (get kicked and rejoin to fix).
- Private lobbies default to “Invite Only” on creation. This can make it appear as if lobby codes aren’t working as there is no error dialogue. Check the Lobby Settings are set to Lobby Code.
- If you attempt to join a non-spectate match, you may not be able to start a match on another cabinet. To fix, re-queue for the same cabinet or restart 2XKO.

- An error is triggered when pressing the FAM button to attempt to join cabinet queue.

- Skins you just received from a Battle Pass level up cannot be equipped if you select "Change Champs" in the post-game menu. Exit the match to fix.
- Some localized VO cuts off or is missing at champion select screen
- Sidekick and Juggernaut fuse cannot receive "PERFECT" message after taking no damage since partner is "grayed out"
- Queuing to play on a cabinet may cause a crash for players choosing "end set" in the post-match screen
- In Versus mode, you are unable to exit the post-game screen if the other player disconnects their controller.
Gameplay
- Destroying a placed tentacle and interrupting Illaoi's dd.S2 tentacle(s) with the same attack results in loss of tentacle functionality for Illaoi.
- Some effects and coloring are inaccurate/unfinished.
- Some VO may not play or match up properly with character animations.
- Juggernaut Fury Break does not autocorrect the facing direction of the character during rolls.
- Limit strike additional meter bonus and UI blade fails to function when the opponent is knocked out (KO) without the damage bonus.
- Braum's Champion Mastery mission states to deal damage with armored attacks, when it should say to absorb hits with armored attacks (mission progression works as usual).
Offline Mode
- Unplugging a controller during the post-match lobby (rematch/main menu) triggers a bug that prevents you from controlling the menu. To fix it, you must plug the same amount of unplugged controllers.
- For example: if a match has four players and two of them unplug their controller while in the post-match lobby, they’ll need to plug two controllers back before they can exit the screen.
